Bald Eagle to Color
Bald Eagles live all along the inland waters of Puget Sound, and against the foothills of the Cascade and Olympic mountains. I've spotted a bald eagle carrying a snake in its talons!
The proud bald eagle has extremely sharp eyes to scan the glacial lakes and wild rivers of Puget Sound as he searches for fish.

Canada Goose to Color
Canada geese may be spotted near the walking trails of Western Washington, especially on lawns near creeks and rivers, and along the shores of local lakes.
There are several species of Canada goose native to North America. They're found from the Pacific Northwest to Texas, and some stay on local waterways all year long wherever they find a mild climate.

Lovebirds for My Friend's Wedding
I drew these lovebirds for my grade school friend's wedding gift in 1984. Yes, she's had a long and happy marriage! We also etched (via stage blasting) the lovebird design onto a large glass plate she still treasures.
In the fall of 2024, I spent time with her again as we gathered to celebrate our 50th Nathan Hale High School reunion in Seattle! It was a wonderful experience!

Meidum Egyptian Goose to Color
A visit from a long gone Egyptian goose for you to enjoy. This brightly marked goose is a favorite bird found on ancient Egyptian murals. Very similar to today's Red Breasted goose, but doesn't quite match the coloration and markings of the immortalized Meidum geese, we don't know its original home range or when it may have disappeared.
